Microsoft Selling U.S. Dollar 1.3 Billion Shares

For the first time since owning shares of Microsoft Corporation seven years ago, Steve Ballmer, Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft, off 49.3 million shares worth a total of 1.3 billion U.S. dollars. Capital Market Supervisory Agency United States or the SEC said, Ballmer sells its shares in stages, each on Wednesday (11/03/2010) as much as 21.87 million shares, 14.35 million shares Thursday, and Friday of 13.12 million shares.

With the sale of these shares, currently Ballmer still thinking about 358.91 million shares of software companies with a value of 9.64 billion U.S. dollars, or 4.2 percent of total ownership of shares of Microsoft. The plan, until the end of the year, it will return a total dump their shares to 75 million shares, or reduce the 18 percent stake in Microsoft.
