Several Buildings Damaged in Bali

Earthquake with a strength of 6.8 on the Richter scale that rocked Bali in Denpasar, resulting in several buildings were damaged. Reportedly, shaking twice in this island.

One of the buildings that were damaged is Love Mother Hospital in Tengku Omar Street, Denpasar. Tile hospital was falling so panicked patient or guardian.

Some patients in the ICU immediately removed. Many ambulance came to the scene to move the patients treated.

An earthquake shook the area of Nusa Dua, Bali, with the strength of 6.8 on the Richter scale. This information is reported by the Bureau of Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG), Thursday (13/10/2011).

Informed, the earthquake occurred at 10:16 pm, with coordinates 9.89 LS, BT 114.53 or approximately 143 kilometers southwest of Nusa Dua, Bali, with a depth of 10 kilometers. This earthquake is not a potential tsunami.

Bali Earthquake: There Is No Death Toll Report

SR 6.8 magnitude earthquake centered in Nusa Dua Bali, Thursday (10/13/2011) resulted in a number of buildings suffered minor damage. There are no reports of casualties.

Tremors felt in Bali until V MMI (moderate) in Denpasar. While the intensity IV (mild) occurred Kuta, Ubud, Tabanan, Gambiran, Muncar, State, Srono, tiles and Banyuwangi.

The quake was also felt in Madura, Jember, Blitar, Surabaya and Malang III-IV MMI.

Earthquake in Bali of Power 6.8 SR

An earthquake measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale (SR) occurs in Nusa Dua, Bali. Many residents felt the earthquake vibration Bali.

Data Geophysics and Climatology Meteorological Agency (BMKG), Thursday (13/10/2011) recorded earthquake occurred in 143 Km South West Nusa Dua.

The depth of the earthquake only 10 Km. The quake occurred at around 10:16 pm.

Bromo spew Material Glow

Mount Bromo back spewing brownish gray ash and incandescent material, accompanied by a roar loud enough. Even the rumble intensity longer than ever before.

"The earthquake tremors continuously with amplitude of 40 mm max. Yesterday, just 55 minutes. And now much longer and larger thundering voice,"M Subhan, observation post officer of Mount Bromo, in Cemoro Lawang.

Incandescent material according to Subhan, still fall at the foot of Mount Bromo. Or is about 150 meters radius from the crater lip. Bursts of ash which is fast enough with a height of 1,200 meters, and wind direction to the east and northeast.

According to him, vomit this incandescent material as an indication of the increase in the magma surface. "That was also the explosion sound terdengan 2 times from the crater," said Subhan.

Merapi is still sprayed hot clouds

Since erupted on Tuesday (10/26/2010), Mount Merapi in the border province of Yogyakarta and Central Java continued spewing hot clouds until Wednesday (11/10/2010).

Mount Merapi is obvious from the various regions, such as from the city of Yogyakarta, Cangkringan, Sleman, and Manisrenggo (Klaten) from morning until 10:00. Hot clouds that soar moving westward. However, not heard the explosion from the direction of the peak of Merapi. Most active mountain in the world is still a Caution.

United States President Barack Obama shorten his visit to Indonesia for fear of vomit Mount Merapi volcanic ash that could disrupt flights on Air Force One, the U.S. presidential aircraft.

Mentawai Islands earthquake rocked back

Mentawai Islands earthquake rocked back. This time a magnitude 5 earthquake on the Richter Scale (SR) and no potential to cause tsunami waves.

Based on the record of Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), The earthquake occurred on Sunday (10/31/2010), at around 19:23 pm.

Epicenter located at 99.74 3:59 LS-BT or 89 kilometers southwest of South Pagai and 105 kilometers southwest of North Pagai, Mentawai, West Sumatra.

Since an earthquake measuring magnitude 7.2 occurred on Monday (10/25/2010) and then, carrying 23 times aftershocks. Average aftershock was a magnitude 5 SR

By the earthquake that followed the tsunami waves as much as 449 people listed as dead, 96 missing, 270 people were seriously injured, 142 people were lightly injured and 14,983 people were displaced.

Merapi erupts : mbah Maridjan one of the victims were killed

Team victims of the eruption of Mount Merapi evacuation find a body of men in a position of being prostrated at home Mbah Maridjan, Wednesday (10/27/2010) morning. Whether the remains were Mbah Marijan or not, the officer could not confirm his identity.

Earlier, news about Mbah Maridjan confusing. Got reported, the gatekeeper of Merapi was found safe in a weak condition. During a sweep of the hot cloud, Mbah Maridjan was praying in the mosque which is 100 meters from his house. However, he refused to be evacuated and still want to be in the mosque.
