Several Buildings Damaged in Bali

Earthquake with a strength of 6.8 on the Richter scale that rocked Bali in Denpasar, resulting in several buildings were damaged. Reportedly, shaking twice in this island.

One of the buildings that were damaged is Love Mother Hospital in Tengku Omar Street, Denpasar. Tile hospital was falling so panicked patient or guardian.

Some patients in the ICU immediately removed. Many ambulance came to the scene to move the patients treated.

An earthquake shook the area of Nusa Dua, Bali, with the strength of 6.8 on the Richter scale. This information is reported by the Bureau of Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG), Thursday (13/10/2011).

Informed, the earthquake occurred at 10:16 pm, with coordinates 9.89 LS, BT 114.53 or approximately 143 kilometers southwest of Nusa Dua, Bali, with a depth of 10 kilometers. This earthquake is not a potential tsunami.

Bali Earthquake: There Is No Death Toll Report

SR 6.8 magnitude earthquake centered in Nusa Dua Bali, Thursday (10/13/2011) resulted in a number of buildings suffered minor damage. There are no reports of casualties.

Tremors felt in Bali until V MMI (moderate) in Denpasar. While the intensity IV (mild) occurred Kuta, Ubud, Tabanan, Gambiran, Muncar, State, Srono, tiles and Banyuwangi.

The quake was also felt in Madura, Jember, Blitar, Surabaya and Malang III-IV MMI.

Earthquake in Bali of Power 6.8 SR

An earthquake measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale (SR) occurs in Nusa Dua, Bali. Many residents felt the earthquake vibration Bali.

Data Geophysics and Climatology Meteorological Agency (BMKG), Thursday (13/10/2011) recorded earthquake occurred in 143 Km South West Nusa Dua.

The depth of the earthquake only 10 Km. The quake occurred at around 10:16 pm.
